When the order was completed six years later, Beretta sold the cutting-edge facility “lock, stock, and barrel” to Taurus. The deal included Beretta’s world-class tooling, design and production equipment, and, most important, the location’s highly educated and well-trained workforce.

In 1984, the company created a subsidiary called Taurus International Manufacturing Incorporated. Also known as Taurus USA, this firm handles the exportation of the company’s firearms and other products to the United States.
